Wedding Season Chic: Wellness Wednesday

workout
Seeing as it is wedding week, let’s talk about something really important. Working out! Yes, in order to look fabulous in that sassy, but classy dress, you must be fit. This means you must work out… oh, and eat healthy (sometimes a struggle for this pizza and dessert loving mom). Since I love my food, I am thankful that I love to work out too. Really! I am one of those people who actually loves to run… not every time, but usually.

One key to this is finding workouts I enjoy and for me a big part of it is the music.  The music is what makes it fun! When it comes to running, I take pride in my music mixes and always have. Just ask any of my girlfriends who happen to be so lucky to own a Jessica “Party Mix” CD. It used to be so easy to hand these precious puppies out back in the day of burning and listening to CD’s, but now that it is all about the iPod, I don’t know how to share. I am sure it is possible, but I am figuring out one technology at a time these days and I can’t keep up!

I can however share with you some of the songs on my playlist right now. I promise these songs will make you want to move or just have a dance party with your kids.

Either way you will be having fun, burning calories and you will be wedding dance floor ready. How chic is that?

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
