What to wear for a cold weather work out can be a challenge. You start out freezing but before you know it you are sooo hot … unless you’re a crazy enough to go for a run in Chicago during an arctic blast. In which, sweat may not happen at all… but I mean, who would do that?? Not many I am guessing.
So even if you are headed out for a run in just average cold temp, you need warm layers but the last thing anyone wants it to feel like they can’t move. In fact, too much tight bulky material around you is bound to invoke claustrophobic fears and unless this drives you to run home faster because you can’t wait to rip of the clothes, I don’t recommend it. And fortunately, there are companies like Nike and lululemon that are making breathable, but warm outdoor workout clothes. This also means no excuses. No need to give up your morning run or walk, and in fact, that brisk air will leave you feeling trés refreshed and even provide some natural blush. So layer up and get moving. xx
