Here are a few of my favorites tips and products that make it all so easy to look refreshed and glowing for your best year yet.

Your skin is the canvas for your makeup, so you want to treat it right. A couple of my indulgent faves include La Mer the Concentrate and the Illuminating Eye Gel. Nothing helps makeup go on smoother and more radiant then perfectly soft hydrated skin. The concentrate has the most luxurious texture and is so healing. Apply this all over the face and décolleté for healthy, smooth skin. The eye gel brightens the skin around the eyes…ahem, dark circles anyone? And softens fine lines.

My absolute must have sunscreen is an organic one by Coola– all natural mineral sunscreen. You can’t ask for anything more perfect in a face sunscreen. They make two finishes: natural matte or tinted. Always apply sunscreen last in your skincare regimen and before any makeup.

Next, there are two primers that I LOVE. Nars Light Optimizing Primer with SPF 15. This can be worn alone for an all over radiant look, or as a primer for your foundation. It will prolong the wear of any foundation and add a luminescence that is just beautiful. If you are more concerned with fine lines, wrinkles or enlarged pores then Benefit POREfessional will be your new best friend! This primer is magical for trouble spots. It fills in fine lines and pores and mattifies oily skin. Your makeup will truly last all day with this amazing primer.

I’m sure we’ve all gathered a few more fine lines around our eyes from doting on our beautiful children, right?! So, to help minimize the look of them- dab on a liquid pearl highlighter like MAC Lustre Drops. You can just dab a couple spots on the corner of the eye and tap with your finger until it blends seamlessly into your skin or foundation. Dot a little on the inner corner of the eye for a wide eyed look. This product is also great to mix into your foundation for an all over glow.

An easy trick when applying mascara is to only apply it to the top lashes. This will make your eyes look bigger and brighter. Applying to the lower lashes can sometimes pull the focus down, drawing attention to dark circles and bags.

And of course, we can’t forget about the body! Apply my Delilah Cosmetics Shimmer Chic on any exposed skin- arms, legs, back and décolleté for an all over gorgeous glow. You won’t want to leave home without it!

And there you have it! A new more radiant you for 2015!

with love,
Lynn

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
