The American Journal of Nutrition recently reported that eating breakfast was associated with increased feelings of fullness, a reduced desire to eat, and lower levels of ghrelin (a hunger-stimulating hormone). At BeWELL our clients start each day with a protein rich #BeWELLsmoothie; with an adequate amount of protein, fat, fiber and greens our clients slim down naturally while filling up on seasonal superfoods.
Starting in April the Yellow Champagne Mango comes into season, this buttery sweet fruit is full of vitamin C and fiber. The sweet notes allow you to bulk up your #BeWELLsmoothie with antioxidant rich greens and still taste the tropics. The avocado, rich in vitamin K, vitamin B9, vitamin B6, vitamin B5 vitamin C, and vitamin E, is not only a vitamin powerhouse but also contains 11 grams of fiber, which is close to half of the RDI.
