Trend Alert: Denim Culottes

Today on MCbJ we are all about one of the hottest trends of the moment: denim culottes. A radical departure from the skinny jeans we are so used to wearing it can take a little bit of time for some of us to get used to them. Here are four reasons I am loving them: 1) Comfort 2) High waist makes them easy to bend over and not have to pull your jeans up constantly 3) They are what all the “cool girls” are wearing and I am not above trying to be one of them;) 4) My oldest son told me “Mom, I like your jeans” and he has never said this ever about pretty much anything I have ever worn so I may never take them off!

All this combined means these denim culottes will be getting a lot of use, and I urge you to try them out. Fortunately for you there are some amazing sales happening, plus a pair as low as $16(!!) so you can give them a try without feeling overly invested. If you take the plunge and pry yourself out of your skinny jeans I would love to hear your thoughts and a great way to show us is to tag #MCbJ on social media so we can see you rocking this hot trend!! We may even feature you… because let’s be honest I get really sick of just showing pictures of myself and would love to show off some of you gorgeous mamas!! Happiest of Hump Days!! xx Jess

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
