Travel Essentials Chic: Flight Looks for the Kiddos

Earlier this week I talked about the eye rolling or groaning that “some” people will do as you board a plane with children. Well, after 6 years of traveling with one or more child, I have found one thing to be of fact – People are far kinder to children that are dressed nicely with their hair combed.

That being said, my kids are always in nice clothes but they have to be comfortable too. For the boys this means a shirt with a collar (just as easy to put on as a t-shirt), a cardigan and handsome looking slip-ons.

For girls there are so many pretty yet comfortable options that this is even easier. Not to mention, the general public seems to respond to girls in a much nicer way than boys. This is something I have discovered since having my baby girl. It’s amazing how many people will smile at her… even when boarding a plane.

It leads me to believe that apparently the secret is out to the world that little boys can be destructive and out right wild. Trust me, mine are no exception! Yet, I am telling you when I dress them nicely, they are treated a little bit nicer and they even tend to use better manners. Just try it please and let MCbJ know your experience. It’s like we are conducting an unofficial scientific experiment. 😉

And if you need help getting started on child’s travel ensemble, swoop up these looks to have your child looking put together and comfy. Très traveling kid chic! xx

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
