Every mommy with a toddler needs a date night and a reason to beautify. This is especially necessary after a day full of wiping tushy, playing the “what is okay to put in your mouth” game and a continuous battles of wills. It’s simply amazing how feisty a person weighing less than 35 pounds can be!
Clearly, by the end of the day you are exhausted and either want to get in bed or get of the house. Depending on the day both are equally appealing. However, sometimes what you need is to get out of the house, get dressed up and remember that you are still fun, interesting and pretty.
Sure you may still get in bed by 10:00pm, but for a few glorious hours all you have to do is dine and dish with your man (or your girlfriends), and how fabulous is that? And how fabulous are you in a look like the one below.
It’s time to get mommy chic and forget about the fact that in 8 hours you will be back to diaper duty… Or do remember this and use it as a reason to indulge on that pair of shoes you have been eyeing. This needs to happen from time to time, and toddler hood seems like just that time. xx
