the Color we Envy: Little Loves

In my household green is the most talked about color. It started with my first born who has green eyes and quickly declared it his favorite color (still waiting for the genius thing to be true. 🙂 ). Since then it has become the most sought after color in the house. Since my middle son wants to be just like his older brother, naturally his favorite color is green as well. Even though I tried, and keep trying, to make blue “his color” just like his eyes it is yet to happen. Yet, I am hopeful one day the fighting of the “green item” will stop.

My older son picked out this dress (naturally) because of the color and I couldn’t resist. This green and that ruffle were just too adorable. Oh, and that arm tattoo… well, nothing says classy like a tattoo on a baby. So much for temporary… that darn octopus won’t come off!

Now, keep in mind my baby girl is only 18 months old so she has yet to have pink give green a run for its money. So for now we have green toothbrushes, green cups, green iPad cases and of course, green clothes. As I started to look for the most chic green children’s items out there I came across many… maybe too many. However, my obsessive nature is your gain since with this much range in shade and style there must be something green for everyone. And even if your little one is not quite a genius (though close I am sure!), mom sure is when it comes to dressing them. xx

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
