This week for MCbJ we will bring you the best of all the Summer Trends. Today for J’adore we will show you how to be on trend, on budget and as always, in kid friendly clothing.
Here is what you want to be wearing this summer:
1. THE PRINTED SHORT
Who doesn’t love a chic print on shorts? If you are nervous about baring your legs try a spray tan or sunless tanner. Just remember to blend properly.
Areas of concern are knees, ankles and feet. I usually blend some regular lotion in those areas to ensure I won’t have odd lines.

#2. LEATHER IN SUMMER
It might seem counterintuitive to put on leather as the weather heats up, but you can and you should. A little summer leather is especially chic for the evening, so rock it on your next date night.

#3. Cropped Top
I know what you are thinking… There is no way I am baring my belly, but trust me. Paired with a high-waisted skirt, shorts or pants this look can be ultra flattering and sophisticated. To keep it classy, don’t let it all hang out there though. Bare only about a ½ inch of skin. I mean, no one wants to be the mom dressing like she is in high school, right? Can you say em-bar-rasing!

One of my favorite trends right now. I appreciate the creativity many designers are putting in to this look. It has that perfect combo of sexy and classy.

#5. Raffia
A material meant for summer is extra desirable this coming season, thanks to the fabulous items being put out by every designer and store. You definitely need to swoop up a bag, shoe or hat to be on trend and mommy chic this summer.

#6. Floral
Floral prints were huge this spring and flower power is here to stay through summer. We’re happy to see that the blooms are going to last a bit longer because this trend is one of our faves. Just remember not to over accessorize – let the prints do the talking in this case. Keep it minimal with a simple bag like this or this.
Complete the look with soft, neutral makeup by using a palette like this by Urban Decay and a light creamy pink lipstick.
