Stripes and Slides

There is so much I love about today’s look that I am not really sure where to start, so I will begin with the Rachel Zoe shoes because I am rather obsessed with them. Not only are they comfortable and easy to slip on, the gold makes them a little more chic than say a pair of Birkenstocks which some people can rock with style but I am just not one of those people so I am happy for all the other great options on the market (another fave brand to check out is Ancient Greek Sandals).

I also can never get enough stripes. So when I came across this striped tee I couldn’t resist because I love a little unexpected splash of style and this back nails it. I mean really, who doesn’t love a little “business is the front, party in the back”?? For those of you that didn’t know the mullet is comically described this way, but it just so happens to work for this top as well and I will reference the mullet any chance I get. 😉

Now moving on to accessories. I recently became a Rocksbox It Girl (Woohoo!) which basically means I am a brand ambassador for them. Sharing my fabulous monthly jewels as well as offering you all an opportunity for a free month with the code mommychicbyjessicaxoxo. This month I love my goodies especially this necklace by Slate. In fact, I love it so much I just may have to keep it and fortunately with Rocksbox that is a possibility (I look forward to sharing more about this fabulous company in a later post).

My other go to for accessories is Free People. They always have so many stylish options at great prices. I am consistently weaving in their costume jewels with my fine jewelry and the combo just works! Last up this white bucket bag is one I featured last spring as well. Unfortunately, it is not currently available (although pay attention to the Mansur Gavriel site for a re-release), but I have included some other fabulous options that are similar. Hope you all enjoyed a beautiful weekend!! xx Jess unnamed unnamed2 unnamed3 index6

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
