Another whirlwind of a week filled excitement, fun and not too many pregnant emotional breakdowns;). I spent half of my week downtown working on my new MCbJ line, picking out fabric and working on designs. I am absolutely loving it! I realize that I may be a little crazy to launch a retail line the month before I am due with my fourth baby, but I just couldn’t help myself. Sometimes in life when the right opportunity and people present themselves you just have to go for it even if the timing is not perfect. So, here I am set to launch my own line created for women like you and I. Hope you will love it as much as I do!
The latter part of the week and weekend was spent making Easter memories with the family. From Good Friday to Sunday evening, the weekend was packed with Easter themed events. While my growing belly is slowing me down a bit, it is not slowing down the fun I am having “styling the bump” as you can see here.
Have a wonderful weekend friends! Part of mine will be spent thinking up my perfect positive affirmation after I was inspired by my soul cycle instructor today. I am going to write down this affirmation and put it in a place where I will see it each day. I haven’t decided just yet what it will say, but when I do, I will share it will you all. If anyone does this (or is going to) I would love to hear what your affirmation is and how it changes your day-to-day life. It could be little or it could be big, but I do believe in the power of positive thoughts and am excited to see if it will make a difference in my life. And on that note, I want everyone that has sent me positive vibes in the way of verbal encouragement or in quiet thought to know I appreciate you! We need to build each other up! This is part of my inspiration behind “Mom Crush Monday.” So don’t forget to check out these fabulous moms. Happy weekend! xx
Look 1- Downtown LA
A day filled with meetings and fabric shopping made me realize that heels and pregnancy were probably not the best idea, but they did make for a cute look. I did learn from this though and next day of fabric shopping I switched to flats.

Look 2- Lunch with my hubby
Hotel Bel Air is where my husband and I have celebrated many special occasions. It is our little sanctuary in the middle of LA. So I was thrilled when he asked me to lunch at the delicious Wolfgang Puck restaurant. Our little romantic dates help us stay connected in this busy world! Feeling romantic, I went with a flowy, floral-printed blouse. Best of all, the price of this sweet top can’t be beat. Since it is not a maternity shirt I bought a size up.

Look 3- Easter Egg Hunt
1…2…3… nobody look at the camera… And that is how it went for 20 more photos. So rather than pick one photo where one or two of us were looking I decided to go with the one shot where no one was looking. At least we were aligned that way:). Plus, it still shows off this MCbJ Kimono, one of the first pieces for the line. I was so proud to wear a piece that I had created. It also looked perfect with my necklace by Twine and Twig (that I am obsessed with!) from Bardot boutique in Newport Beach.

Look 4- Easter
Earlier in the pregnancy I said I would try out jumpsuits as my bump grew, and here I am doing just that. Assuming the cut is one that fits you right I have found them to be such a darling way to show off the bump. Additionally, this is so comfortable. It is another non-maternity item from Forever 21 that I sized up. Pregnant or not, I hope you all are having some style fun with jumpsuits! And PS- that is Guava juice in my glass:)
