Pregnancy Style Tour 4.0: 23-24 Weeks

intro
So, I am currently sitting on the floor outside of my hotel room in San Francisco where I just arrived for a family wedding shower weekend with all the ladies. Seeing as my little Isabelle is a lady, she made the trip as well. Which leads me to why I am sitting on the floor outside our room. As you may have guessed, she is napping and since I needed to make some phone calls, I have posted up in the hallway. I have received a few odd looks as people pass by, but at least the carpet is new. 🙂 In fact, everything is new at The Ritz Carlton San Francisco, which has recently completed a major renovation. And I must say I love what they have done decor-wise! A lot of navy and silver with contemporary and sophisticated wallpaper, furniture & light fixtures. I kind of want my bedroom to look like this one or at least am going to add in some navy blue. Trés chic!

Now on to my recent pregnancy style photos. As many of you already know, I am working on an MCbJ clothing line that is taking up much of time and focus (I dream about cuts & patterns these days! :)) and so much of what I am wearing right now are our sample/trial pieces. I am finding out what works and what doesn’t. You, my fabulous readers, are a big part of this! I am designing with you in mind and I value any & all feedback.

Here are a few of the pieces I am considering for the line. Keep in mind a lot of the fabric designs will change as they are seasonal and I am not sure what will be available when I make my first “large” order.

And on the pregnancy front, other than dealing with the nasty stomach flu (thank you kiddos) I am feeling great! This is my favorite time period of the whole pregnancy. No more sickness, a baby that moves all the time, but still rather agile. I am happy & relieved to be in this phase! I also better start preparing for number 4… Only 3 1/2 months to go!

This photo was taken on “take your son to work day.” After an accident/road closure on Sunset (my LA friends know how brutal that is) they shut down the area right by his preschool. I, of course, allotted for no extra time to deal with the traffic situation and so instead, Tommy came with me to my design meeting in DTLA. Despite throwing up on the street from car sickness, as we headed in to the meeting, he was still an angel or “a joy” as he now calls himself after hearing us say it all the time. And my meeting was still a success… All in all, just another crazy day, but at least it was a good one.  Plus, I can’t wait to show you all what is to come for the MCbJ clothing line. I promise it will be mommy chic!

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
