Casually Cute in the Perfect T

I love a good t-shirt (who doesn’t!?!), but it can’t be just any shirt. I look for a tee that is #1: comfortable (meaning it is made of nice fabric) and #2 flattering (meaning it was a thought out design). Without this magic combination it isn’t worth the money… period. Fortunately, there are many t-shirts out there that fit this criteria. My recent favorite is the one I am wearing here by Free People. It comes in many different colors, and it is flattering on any body type. I finished this casually cute look off with my favorite “run around town” accessories of the moment- rose gold Ray Ban’s and Melissa slides. Pair them with your preferred ripped skinnies and voila you have the perfect “off duty”* look.  However, in reality every mommy is almost always “on duty” so we can just call this the “momiform” 🙂 xx Jess

* A lot of magazines like Vogue will call a casual look like this the “off duty” model look

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
