Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas!!

As moms we are so busy wrapping presents and preparing the “perfect” Christmas for our children that often the true meaning of Christmas can be lost. I can tell you that I still have many presents to wrap (too many!) and more than half of our household has the stomach flu making it likely I am next… Needless to say I do feel a little bummed and stressed, but I am doing my best to focus on the real gifts we have. One that is obvious is Amalia who will be celebrating her first Christmas as well as our three other sweet little ones that still find reasons to smile even when sick.

Our house is one that can be slightly chaotic (and pukey at the moment!), but when I focus on “love” it makes it easier for me to see past the things that really do not matter like a perfectly wrapped remote control car or pristine home. Not to mention good health is a gift we often take for granted until a few sick days make one really appreciate the days where everyone is happy, healthy and smiling. So I pray for love and good health for all of us. May the true meaning of this glorious holiday be found in your home and hearts. Merry Christmas friends!! xx

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
