J’adore

JadoreWe all know that a park play date is not the time to throw on a Missoni shift and a pair of CL’s, but if you are like me you still want to look chic.

I have learned from years of experience that when it comes to taking care of your children just expect messy. From the early moments of nursing to an elementary soccer game be prepared for your shirt (or somehow at times your pants ) to become a napkin.

For this reason we here at Mommy Chic never want to wear something that if and when it gets splatted with ketchup would make us want to burst into our own 2 year old temper tantrum.

Our goal is to show you affordable park friendly looks that won’t have you hiding tears behind your Gucci frames when your perfect little baby blows out a diaper all over you (and yes this has happened to ALL of us at least once).

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
