Festival or Fiesta

We all know (and if you don’t know now you know 🙂 ) that this weekend is the first weekend of Coachella and the unofficial kick off of festival season. This means many things… music (obviously!), luxe events, celebrity spotting and of course, fashion! As always Boho Chic is the preferred style and a fabulous one at that. There really is something so effortlessly cool (& comfortable!!) about this look. I think, or at least would like to think, it originated in my city of L.A, but am not sure so don’t hold me to that statement. Point being whether you are headed to Coachella (lucky!) or you just love this style like I do expect to see a lot of Boho Chic coming from MCbJ. With warmer temps and busy mommy life it just works.

As you can see here angel bug and I are festival ready… but really we are just having our own “fiesta”. And since no real fiesta is complete without some fun head wear I find it crucial to let you know my favorite hat is 40% off! Qué suerte! xx

On Jessica: Free People Dress // Dolce Vita Wedges // Hat Attack Fedora (Major sale alert! 40% off)
On Amalia: Shop MCbJ Baby Bubble // BabyGap Fringe Moccasins (Gold no longer available similar here & here)

Philanthropy

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
