……………

I’d like to share a quick and easy “anthro inspired” hair bow for your darling little ones!  This particular bow looks great using a ruffle yarn that is commonly used for knitting shawls or mufflers.

Materials

What you will need:  Glue gun, Yarn, Tiny rubber bands, Hair clips, Shelf liner

Step by Step:

Step1 1. Cut two lengths of yarn – one 4 inches and the other 22 inches.

Step2 2. Using the longer yarn piece, glue the ends together with a small amount of glue.

Step3 3. Wrap the yarn 3 times around your four fingers, as shown.

Step4 4. Secure the center together by double wrapping a rubber band.

Step5 5. Using the smaller yarn piece, tie a knot over the rubber band.  Set aside.

Step6 6. Pinch the clip between your two fingers and glue a small piece of shelf liner to the top side.  Hold it open while you let it dry.

Step7 7. Glue the bottom side of the hair bow (where the knot is) to the top of the clip.  Be careful not to glue the clip closed!

DIYBows 8. Pin that beautiful clip in your little girl’s hair.

Philanthropy

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
