Exploring Mission Santa Inés in Chambray & Block Heels

The hubby and I recently took a trip up to the Mission Santa Inés in Solvang where we were married 9 years ago. The church and grounds were every bit as beautiful as I remember!! Here are just a few pics of the gorgeous church grounds (more to come on a Santa Barbara Wine Region Guide later this month) and the links to this look that was as comfortable as it is cute.

This dress now on sale and  hard to resist at only $81 in this color (or $106 in the others). It is well made and flattering on just about everybody type. It will easily become a “go to” dress. And if you are worried about the cooler weather coming you can always wear it with tights, boots and a cute coat. Also, not to miss are these block heel sandals by Brazilian brand Schutz. The block heel is a trend that you will see sticking around this fall and beyond. Best of all it is a way to get a little height, but without achy feet. Even after a full day of exploring I had happy feet to match my happy heart:) Hope you all are having a wonderful week!! xx Jess

Philanthropy

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
