Color Me Chic: Wellness Wednesday

Okay ladies, this week is a tough one when it comes to saying “no” to candy. I get it! I have a personal weakness for Swedish Fish and Mike and Ikes. Two of the candies I (of course) had to buy for the trick and treaters. But, isn’t part of what we love about Fall is the treats? I love all the tasty excuses brought to the table by Halloween and the Holidays to follow.

It is also the time of year we have to turn it on when it comes to work outs. Yes I love to eat, and fortunately I (usually) love to work out. However, at this time of year it feels like a necessity. I mean why say no to a caramel apple or a pack of swedish fish, when I can just run it off in the morning…

Alright, alright my fitness gurus are cringing! I know you can’t eat whatever you want just because you work out, but something is better than nothing right?? That being said let’s all focus on moderation. So grab a pack (or even three of swedish fish) just try not to make it twenty! And if you need the extra motivation there is nothing like some new BRIGHT and fabulous workout gear so that you can “shine bright like a diamond” as you nail that “Warrior 3”. It always helps me, and sometimes that extra motivation is just what I need.

So, Happy Halloween Week! I feel like I have been celebrating for a month already… all the more reason for a long workout tomorrow:) xx

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
