Spring is here and warmer weather is on the horizon and thank goodness since it has been so brutally cold here in Los Angeles haha 🙂 … Okay we don’t really ever get that cold, but recently it has felt a little chilly to me (don’t laugh!). So whether you really do live somewhere cold or you are just a cold wimp like me it is always exciting to think of warmer days ahead. And what better way to capture that excitement than with a white lace dress?? Plus with Easter fast approaching the timing couldn’t be better. I also wanted to include this darling little girl look from Zara, which just says “spring”!
Now a quick note on the dress I am wearing. It was hard to decide what would be the white lace dress for me with so many chic & well-priced options, but I was definitely intrigued by Kendall and Kylie’ Jenner’s new line. Admittedly I was skeptical, but figured if NM was carrying their line it had to be pretty good…plus, even the prices are good by NM standards. So I went ahead and ordered this dress that has exceeded my expectations! I love it so much I almost got it in the black as well, but fortunately my mom did so now I can borrow;).

I hope everyone enjoyed a fun weekend!! Mine was packed with kids activities and a much overdue date night! The hubby and I (almost) acted like we were 25 again staying out too late and perhaps having one too many glasses of wine. But, we were actually able to have wonderful uninterrupted conversations and were not totally exhausted. Anyone with kids knows this can be a rare occurrence and we certainly capitalized on it. Needless to say Sunday morning was a little rough and the time change certainly did not help! However, sometimes I (you, everyone) just need to let go and have a little fun because an un-fun life is one simply not worth living:) xx Jess
