I am over the moon excited to have hit the halfway point in my pregnancy for a few reasons. First, I had my anatomy scan ultrasound and everything with the baby is healthy!! Second, I am half way to meeting my little lovebug! And third, I only have 20 more weeks (those are the better weeks for me) of being pregnant. As I have mentioned before, I don’t loooove being pregnant, but I do LOOOOVE what comes out of it. So… all of the above reasons call for a celebration. And what did I do to celebrate? Why, I bought myself a sparkly pair of black platform shoes, of course! Now all I have to do is make sure I can walk in them! xx
Look 1- Half Way Mark!
Here I am in my celebration shoes, which every one of my kids deemed “pretty.” Even the boys… so I guess girls are not the only ones attracted to sparkly things.
I admit the photo quality of these images is very poor, but I still wanted to share the moment with you. My sweet Tommy said he wanted a “photo with baby” and here he is having a trying to feel movement. There was no movement to be felt and he declared that “the baby is sleeping.” He still has not yet felt a kick, but my older son did a few days later and the look of awe and giddiness on his face is one I will never ever forget.

I seem to alternate between black dresses and boho dresses as clearly demonstrated in this week’s pregnancy style post. So true to the pattern here is the boho chic look. I recently came across this dress on the ZARA site and knew it was the perfect pregnancy dress. It is not maternity, so it is also perfect for any of you non-pregger ladies. It is nothing but flattering and obviously this is something we all want. And it wasn’t just the dress that is flattering, the shoes too add length to your legs with the nude color and shape. They will be a “go-to” for me through spring and summer. Yes, they are comfortable for a pregnant woman to wear… to me anyway. 🙂

When I came across these shoes online, I thought they are too good to be true (like the true shoe snob I am). But, I was pleasantly surprised! They are every bit as chic as my high-end shoes. Whether they will last as long I am unsure, but at such a reasonable price I don’t care since they will be so much fun to wear this season.
Here, I wore them with black (so unusual for me 😉 ), but they will go with so many different colors! They can almost be treated as a “nude heel” when deciding what to wear them with.

It seems innate in us ladies to love sparkles and flowers. My little Elle Belle is no different as you see here. And yes, this is supposed to be a post of my pregnancy style, but she was wearing this yesterday and I couldn’t resist sharing with you the shopping links for this fabulous tee and metallic slip-ons. Plus, I agree, “More Sparkle Si Vous Plait!” 🙂
