European Chic: Kiddos Style Essentials

I will admit that there are some things that the Europeans do so well and kid’s clothing is one of them! Not to say that our USA compadres aren’t doing some amazing things as well, but when it comes to dressier clothing there is something about our friends abroad that just do it so well. Yes, many things that come out of France, Italy and Spain are more expensive, but if you look at the quality of the fabric and stitching you may understand why. Not to say all of us are in the position to spend these kind of money on the kiddos (or even want to), but for special occasions it might just be worth it. When it comes to my dressy clothing, handbags and shoes I would rather have fewer items that are nicer than a lot of stuff that are cheap. Plus with amazing sites like Alex and Alexa you can often find designer favorites on sale. Such is the case with this adorably chic Chloe dress.

I also want to point out that it took some time to find the right sunnies for our little loves. As I have really focused in on stylish sunglasses for the kiddos this summer, I have often found myself disappointed… I am sorry to say it, but there are just soooo many cheesy looking kids glasses out there. So much so that I am contemplating a “kid chic” sunglasses line. Now I just need two of me so I can do it! Anyone else know that feeling??

Until that miraculous clone machine is invented I will “pretend” to have it all together, by dressing my kids in impeccable European duds. And… I will just pray they stay looking nice for more than 10 minutes. 🙂 xx

Because it is always chic to give.  As moms we are always giving and most of the time it is not even appreciated until our children are much older (let's hope!) So it may seem challenging to give to anyone else, but we should all try no matter how little the amount or the time. Thinking outside of ourselves is good for our hearts and those of our children.
